Not tried them - but they look tasty! And the chicken version with garlic paste instead of tahini sound good as well...I might have to look out for a Lebanese restaurant next time I go to a city to find out what they should taste like before trying to replicate them...

I love that SSMS is now free and available to anyone.
Any reason why Microsoft can't simply make it auto-update? It seems I'm getting updates every week. I used to update this every 3 years.
Actually: if they could just get the app to update itself instead of the "update" button sending me to a site to download the exe that I have to install manually after shutting things down. Even that would add awesomeness to something otherwise not awesome even a little bit.
cheers

Yup.

You're joking, but you're not wrong.
Microsoft has had a habit lately of having all of their installers change your Windows Update settings without asking you. I honestly wouldn't be surprised to find that Windows 10 had been forcibly installed after updating SSMS.

I have SSMS installed on a few machines, and I've never seen Windows Update show an update for it, except maybe for a full-blown SQL Server service pack and minor updates. But never for SSMS itself.
Got a sample KB number?

This update is a hotfix to fix a bug in the previous update:
Lost "Table", "Design" and "Edit Top <n> Rows" in tables context menu. | Microsoft Connect[^]
(The "Modify" and "View dependencies" menus were also AWOL.)
I'm quite pleased they managed to get the fix out so quickly. Although obviously it would have been better if the bug hadn't made it into the released version in the first place.

..so for a tiny fix, you have to re-download the entire setup and reinstall.
Not worth it.

If you've already applied the July update, and are affected by the bug, then the fix is totally worth it.
But yes, they should have shipped a smaller hotfix package.
