I used to subscribe to AUE and AEU (from probably before you were born) to pretty much take the p1ss out of the idiots who made grand proclamations about the English language. I was one of the only two people who ever used the newsgroup who had an actual professorship in Eng.Lang, and we both despaired of the garbage that they laid down as "Absolute Law!". Feel free to completely disregard everything they say -- which is 99.999999% "style" and 0.000001% grammar, anyway, so it doesn't count for a toss.

So three sources (and I would at least call Google and Cambridge Dictionary good sources) state it as a word, but still it's not because somehow you're right, even if you have to ridicule an entire language/dialect/country for it... How tough can you be?

OK. google translate translates "alot" (another non-existent word) into "veel" (which, as I'm guessing you might know, means "a lot"), so the idea of their being a reliable source goes right out the window.
AUE is still AUE -- moin ca change, plus c'est la meme merde, and all that.
And you don't use an American dialect at all (I can't switch off editing mode, so I notice such things).

There's a lot more to an idiom than spelling. Your construction is English, not US English.

Both say "I haven't/ain't got a clue" (although we English sometimes elide the "got"). It's minor (Italian-influenced) dialects that use "I (optional "ain't") got no clue" -- but the US film industry uses a lot of characters who speak in that dialect, so it's heard, but rarely spoken.

Yeah, it's an Italian production so it could be really difficult to obtain. Usually the networks air a good selection of their movies at least once a year so we never felt the lack of DVDs/Cassettes. Many magazines periodically attach the series to the magazine so it's easy enough to collect them.
