You waste some time learning some tool/language that is of no immediate use to you

It's definitely not knowledge base where I work. I know a few "Senior" developers who write null checks even for non-nullable types. And upon asking they claim that to be a safe practice.

As to what "senior" means to me, it's a few things:
- the ability to quickly understand the business model
- review processes and suggest process changes, separate from any software solution, but also including recommendations on how to roll out a new software solution with minimal friction
- deliver working software on time and in budget, and if not, determine this early and suggest options.
and so forth. Senior reflects the ability to problem solve, not just code against a spec that's so well defined for junior person that a senior person could have just written the code.

Walmart only allows 32 items in your shopping cart. Not 32 unique items, but 32 total using the quantities. Weird.
So, I made 2 back to back orders.

May be they want to ease the packaging process by limiting the number of items as single order. Doesn't make sense though.

They're simply great! The cheapest place around and the quality is fairly good. When I spend time in London I usually do the grocery there.

Why, yes, 32 is a perfectly normal number. It's a nice binary number : 100000
Why not 30 or 40?
Or even a number like: 24, 36, 144? That's how most things are packaged (in twelves)

My family and I shop at Walmart as well from time to time, just not online; never saw the need - we have 2 super-Walmarts very close by. Our most consistent online shopping goes through Amazon, I guess.
