Nope, I think he meant a swimming pool. Lunatic is derived from the Latin "luna", meaning moon and that the moon caused intermittent insanity. I was attempting subtle humor - I see it failed.

She's just got back from the Physioterrorist, and she has exercises to do five times a day, has to sleep with a rolled towel tied round her tummy, and ... has been banned from the sofa. She's currently sitting in her office chair with a rolled up towel behind her for lumbar support, and with her feet flat on the floor.
This, she doesn't like. So everyone annoying on the TV is getting a barrage of foul language at high volume. Since everyone on TV is an annoying Elephanting sunshine that is out to get her, I'm not getting a lot of peace and quiet...
I'd use earplugs, but she'll just raise the volume until they don't work either. 
Reminds me of working in a cube farm!

From the sound of things, there are "other things" she probably can't do at this time.
I suggest you get a rental to replace her until the repairs are completed. Probably the least painful path for all concerned (unless she finds out?)
