She's getting better - trapped a nerve in her arthritic hip, we think. She's been upped on her morphine intake and given Gabapentin and she's moving better after just a couple of days. Maybe another week of "bed rest" and she'll be fine. But she shouldn't watch the news I suspect, to protect her blood pressure and my ear drums
A bell? Oh, no...not a hope in heck!

In Israel, the Monday morning blahs start on Sunday
If you have an important point to make, don't try to be subtle or clever. Use a pile driver. Hit the point once. Then come back and hit it again. Then hit it a third time - a tremendous whack.

I work on Sunday so for me Sunday is Monday and Monday is Tuesday, so it's not so bad. I also get Tuesday off instead of Sunday so Monday is more like a Friday! Yay, it's Friday!
- I would love to change the world, but they won’t give me the source code.

Has anyone been part of a focus group? I had the opportunity a long time ago and it was...odd. I don't recall the product, but I do recall I disagreed voraciously with the marketing peeps who seemed to be on a different plane of reality.
This got me thinking (yes, my brain is a scrap heap through which the winds of whimsy occasionally set free an errant idea):
Would anyone here be interested in being part of a Focus Group for IT related topics? I spend a lot of time talking to marketing types about how we're all very smart, very nice, and utterly unforgiving when it comes to marketing people assuming they are smarter than us (OK, maybe I'm a little kinder than that, but you are are smarter than the average bear), and I thought why not share the fun?
If you're interested head to The CodeProject Focus Group[^] and hit "Apply to Join this group".
cheers

Should we focus on kicking the marketing people out?
