You realize that if that's right, you're going to have to do two CCC's tomorrow?

I guess so.
Not sure what happened there. I felt sure I'd mucked up the first attempt as it didn't show up after a few minutes. So I reposted. Both my posts are timestamped the same, so I'm guessing the hamsters were taking a break to raise a glass and listen to Ziggy Stardust.

Alex: Fix it? How you gonna fix this?
Skipper: Grit, spit and a whole lotta duct tape.

It went to moderation as "possible spam".
And so did the other one.
So I had to let them both through in order that the auto spam system didn't learn the wrong thing from them, and so you didn't get kicks as a spammer.

Why you have to post everything twice?!

Do the rules of CCC say that if the answer gets posted two times, the winner will have to post two CCC's the next day?

They can do, pretty damn quickly!

Its a sad day today, one of the icons of music has left us.
Such beautiful music, he will be missed by many.

I just heard on the radio and what a loss for music and art
It seems like a few of us were listening to Radio 4 at the same time(see below).

I actually shed a tear, and I am a cynical old bastard. But Bowie was one of the worlds most beautiful people.

Was listening to R5 on the way into work - Nicky Campbell is a huge music fan and it really shows at times such as this - there were some wonderful tributes.
I saw Bowie at Glastonbury in 2000 - I was a always a fan but had never seen him live and didn't really know what to expect - it was one of the best gigs of my life.

Oh wow. Sad. They are dropping like flies at the moment.
I saw him live in Sydney about a dozen years ago. Fantastic concert.
Wonderful entertainer who was able to keep reinventing himself, putting his unique style on popular music trends across the decades.

I am a bit young to understand the loss. I think I have never ever heard something from him.

There is plenty on youtube, ziggystardust is a good album, space oddity too, so much in fact, just dip in at random. I am sure you will have heard a lot of it already, just never knew it was him.

OK, just listen to some of them, and the one that rings a bell is "let's dance", but this is not a song I would listen to on a daily basis. The rest is completely new to me.

Ground control to Major Tom -You must have heard that one.

Oh, that'S the Chris Hadfield one ! Yes, this one is good ( but I did not know it was from Bowie).

I would recommend starting with something like the single - Starman. The music is just beautifully structured.
Then move onto Life on Mars and Space Oddity and take it from there

... There's something wrong ...
David Bowie has passed away from cancer at the age of 69.
Strange man, strange singer, icon.
Rest in peace.
