This article doesn't have anything to download. The error message says the file does not exist on your server. If this is true, the article can be deleted.

It's a 10 year old article. When the site was updated, all the links probably got broke. Not the author's fault. Should be an easy fix to update the base urls for the images and zips.

Not a big deal but I'm curious about who can/would remove a legitimate message and why?
Originally when a tip was published, it had several formatting issues. I wrote a polite message when the tip was in moderation but the tip got through as it was so I wrote the same polite message to the published tip.
Few days later my message got downvoted probably because the author had corrected the formatting and didn't reply to my message so someone may have thought that the message was false. No worries at this point.
But the interesting part is that some hours ago the message was removed, and not by me but someone else. As far as I can see, it couldn't have been the author.
Any ideas why would this message been removed and by whom?

His responses were out of line. That said, when a non-native speaker posts a question here and one of the first responses is quite rude and tells him that his question makes no sense at all, it might potentially sound quite insulting when he translates it to his language (assuming minimal English language understanding).
I am not sure why foreigners come here at all, there are so many non-English forums out there that may be better suited. The advertising on this site is targeted at North American and European audiences too. So it's not as if losing foreign participants adversely affects the site.
Of course it would have been ideal if people knew how to respond without telling someone off. But I guess that's asking too much

I've noticed that NoScript (Mozilla addon) had caught the following attempt of XSS injection:

Looks like a 3rd party ad tag. I don't see any XSS in there but I'll certainly check it out.

I checked it twice on my 2 laptops and 1 desktop before i posted this message. All machines all regularly checked for viruses, trojans, etc.
I do believe that you did something, because XSS warnings have gone today. Note that i did nothing.

As to my observation, XSS warnings are not displayed till ads on top are being unloaded.
