Take half a cup of pure vodka, add ten kernels of cardamom, fifteen cloves, the peels of a seville orange, half an inch of thinly sliced ginger and a stick of cinnamon.
Heat it up slowly under a lid, DON'T LET IT BOIL.
Add a bottle of beer, preferably dark beer, but any will do. Add 100 ml of brown sugar, 100 ml of castor sugar (or 200 ml of temeraire sugar) and four quartered figs.

Sorry, yes it is Haláslé. Carp is awful - 1,000,000 tiny bones held together by a few grams of tasteless flesh.

Yes. It is full of bones (but if you get the right one it has a few kilograms[^] of white flesh), but the taste is probably depend on the spices...
I will ask my mom to prepare you some for your next visit

I so wish!
Tomorrow evening we are entertaining my brother [the one with the brain rot] and his family.
Christmas will be at my parents, Ma has just had another chunk out of her leg [thank you skin rot] and the Da can burn cornflakes so I'll be cooking lunch for them and my brother [without brain rot who doesn't talk to the one with brain rot] with his two sons.
So all in all, I am only preparing meals for 18 people.
