I used to have a VW, in a way: Audi A2[^]
Yes, Audi and VW are together. First, the Audi (and VW) automatic transmissions that come with the TDI motors are junk. Two of them disintegrated and are the reason why I will never buy any of their cars again.
The A2 also had a little button which (gasp) changed the motor configuration a little. you could choose between the economic (low consumption) setting and the 'normal' (more power) setting. Looks like this feature was implemented for the TDI engines all along.
Obviously a bad example of how to reuse your code.
