The community here is so slack that over 11 million souls can fit into it with only occasional belches from its servers. No mystery there: it's an attempt to recognize technical excellence in contributions to CP. While many claim not to see it, the truth is everyone sees it, and only a few understand it. There are a few, here, with very high reputations to whom reputation is very, very, important ... to the point that they are obsessed with it: imho, they are worth ignoring.
