My cat Lucky does that sometimes as well, though he usually stands on my face.
My family's other cats often run over my head at night when they get the midnight zoomies.
They kind of remind me of Zip Zaps.

We used to have a cat - serious size DSH, he was 8Kg or so - whose morning routine revolved around getting me up. Because if I was up, Herself would get up soon, and he would get his breakfast.
So when his belly said it was breakfast time, he would stand on my belly and try to break my nose with his forehead... 
The bladder stand was enough - the Gorbals Kiss was just an extra to drive the point home.
He never did this to Herself: he knew who controlled the cat food!

One of our younger cats, Maximus Aurelius, used to do head punches instead of head bumps, but he has stopped doing that.
It hurt. A lot.
Max isn't the brightest cat we have had (but he isn't the dumbest either), but he is very friendly. He has a number of catnip filled fish, which we throw for him, and he brings them right back. Over and over and over and over and over and over ad infinitum. He also sits like a dog, and I can get him to sit on command quite easily.
His sister, Matilda, is quite bright, and VERY talkative, often chattering at bugs, birds, light spots, and just about everything else. She is also the bold and brave one, while Max, who tries to act tough, is a big wuss.

Beldin - the nose breaker - was a clever one. He could work out how to open things very easily, including the fridge so we had to bungie strap that shut. (We tried child locks, but he didn't have any problem opening those)
Micro was thick as a brick. Only cat I know who could run full tilt into a parked motorcycle...Once forgot he was scratching his ear with a back leg and tried to run after a fly at the same time 
Used to chase his tail, catch it, bite it, and then get really annoyed because it hurt.

We had one with cancer in her ear, and she had the 'Cone of Shame' on. She would reverse all through the house trying to get it off. That same cat would eat Cheez-Its, French Fries, Corn, Beans, Bread Crust, and so on. Odd little one.
We currently have a light orange-ish one that is very fat and has a small head and a very high pitched, squeaky voice. His name's Leroy Jethro Gibbs (My mom is an NCIS fan).
All I can really say is that cats are weird.

Yeah, some of them get weird tastes. Micro would eat anything that had garlic in - upto and including frozen brussel sprouts with garlic powder sprinkled on them.
You know those little chillies you can get in Chinese Supermarkets? I used to buy a bag and air dry them. He stole one and ate it. Walked round the house for half an hour swallowing lots and with his eyes bulging.
Fun came the next time he went to the litter tray...
Developed a taste for them though!

yes, the title is "dissecting a C# application" with subtitle "Inside SharpDevelop" I believe.
I bought this book in 2004 but did not download source code when Wrox was hot company. later on Wrox was sold...

Hi there.
I understand, however, the book is about the design and implementation of SharpDevelop, the IDE you mention.
The website has older source code as well as the newest updates to SharpDevelop. I don't know if they offer the oldest stuff for direct download, but they do have a forum too.
It's a start...

still works -- I just tested it myself.
As I mentioned earlier, the website has old stuff and newer updates. The forum posting at the link above suggests that the code at the download matches the book, which should make studying the old code easier. The dates inside the .zip appear to be consistent with that claim.

Little hint, for further reading: There are also some good articles about SharpDevelop here on CodeProject, which cover its Core and Add-In System as well as the AvalonEdit text editor. Simply search for "SharpDevelop". Just in case you didn't know yet.

Well, I think the source code published with the book might be too outdated, I can't even remember if they had a complete and working implementation of a Form Designer back then (which was around v1.0?). You could go and check out the current source code on GitHub, the Forms Designer is implemented as an AddIn (in the folder src/AddIns/DisplayBinding/FormsDesigner) and it should be pretty solid already since most of the effort in recent years was in the XAML/WPF area.
