You're saying he trumps all?

I mean his opening speech: he'll build a wall on the Mexican border and make Mexico pay for it.
Really - even Putin has to take off his hat to that.

Ah, but now you've crossed the line into SoapBox material.

Alas - I had hoped it would be amusing enough to "both sides" to pass as neutral.
Deep down inside, however, I know you're right.

It depends on who is complaining about your post.
I guess most would agree that ALL politics has to go to Soapbox, no matter what, due to the potential of flare up. I don't know.
Edit: but I agree with you.

I nearly posted about him after reading the snippets of his speech the other day.
This isn't politics, it is f***wittery at its finest and just because he is currently attempting to dabble in politics doesn't mean that the ridicule shouldn't be as wide as possible.
Some men are born mediocre, some men achieve mediocrity, and some men have mediocrity thrust upon them.

If you look at the Daily Show following that announcement - it's why I think we're so fortunate having "The Donald" at hand.
Even Shakespearean tragedies were not without their court jester.

In Israel, we can enjoy FIFA's meltdown just as easily. No Israeli team has made it to the World Cup since 1970, and the chances of the World Cup ever being played in Israel are fat and slim...
If you have an important point to make, don't try to be subtle or clever. Use a pile driver. Hit the point once. Then come back and hit it again. Then hit it a third time - a tremendous whack.

I just have one thing to comment on here:

oh, wait a minute, just throw enough money at a problem... Even Donald trumps hair can be sorted out if the price is high enough

Yes, "The Donald" is an air-bag and a putz but the truly sad part is that he's only a little tiny bit worse than ALL the other air-bags and putzes running for POTUS.
Contrary to popular belief, nobody owes you anything.

Prior to the present car-wreck of a president we went eight years with no president at all.
Not the first time. A smiling face is all you need. A talking head.
Oddly, a bit like a StarTrek plot of long ago.

Can't say I blame him for saying that, I wouldn't want to be associated with Trump Chump either. But it's still a good rock song.

We are up for a good laugh - and as no one takes hims seriously he can do little to no harm.
When he finally withdraws and tries to put a positive spin on it, he'll through his support behind some hapless sucker. Real life sit-com.

I don't know enough about US politics to say you're wrong. But as someone said, he’s a nuisance, a hothead and totally unqualified, but has money and nothing to lose.
Which means he will (try to) set the agenda.
And at least the Republicans should fear him. Remember Ross Perot?
But a real life sit-com, yes definitely. <grabs popcorn>
