eric lippert[^] - this one makes you think more than show off some new techniques.
sacha barber[^] - he shows off some good demo's and also does a good write up
Angular
dave kerr[^] - lots of good angular demos and write ups
ng newsletter[^] - collection of many blogs and how tos

Colleagues usually, and when i encounter a problem during programming i often get side tracked to new frameworks and such  .
So i guess internet is my major source.

I let Kent Sharkey do it for me here on CodeProject ... actually I do subscribe to a few e-mail newsletters in addition to CodeProject newsletters, including: The Register, ReadWrite Web, Robert X Cringely, ExtremeTech, Scott Hanselman, JetBrains, How-To-Geek, and some of the Stack Exchange newsletters, like the Programmers' Weekly.

I read the CodeProject newsletter each morning... Well, read is a big word, scan is more like it 
And I read blogs and articles I come across on CP and Twitter.
Don't try to keep 'too up' with technology though, because, as you say, it's a day job!
I keep up with what I need to know, and even there I'm lagging behind sometimes.
And I check out some new stuff from time to time. For example, Node.js is pretty popular so I'm checking that out for fun even if I don't need it.

The vast majority of what's out there is irrelevant to me, and even if it were, it's usually some half-baked here today, gone tomorrow flash in the pan that the media gloms into for a picosecond of fame.
The only time I care is when someone I respect shares something useful, the most recent being Git Extras[^]

I am not sure, but Google yields this[^] where it says - "Viola (who is disguised as a boy) falls in love with Duke Orsino." So maybe that's the reference in the clue?

Yes, from Twelfth Night, Viola was shipwrecked and took the identity of a boy.
It's the only Shakespeare I read at school, although I prefer the film version She's The Man.

The thrill is gone.
I saw him playing a few years ago with Peter Green as the support act. BB said more with one note than most musicians say in a lifetime. I will miss him and I thank him for his influence. No modern blue guitarist can say he plays the blues with out that semi-tone bend going into the major pentatonic. Trust me - this does make sense.
