They were all tweeted, the first few to the local Class War account.
I like Class War, their slogan is "Because all the other candidates are f***ing wankers".
They urge people not to vote too, although say if you have to then vote Green. But they are also making some noise and doing so with humour.
When Fabricant didn't turn up to the hustings last week they replaced him with a blonde wig on a stick.
I like this bit of reporting about the hustings;

Then sir, I put it to you, they are complete and utter wock combles! If you don't vote then you'll be ignored. Anyone who says ot's the other way round should just compare the demographics of voters against who the MP's support and help. You vote and they listen.

To be fair they do say not to vote but to go and organise a revolution instead. If you are going to revolt then you don't really need to vote.
Looking at the local effect they are engaging people (hustings, local media, social media), and I think their presence will increase the numbers of younger people who vote despite their official line being not to.
We are in a very safe Tory seat, their don't vote line is I think as much to do with raising awareness of the value of individual votes in different areas under the system we currently use.

That is not what it is about. If you look at Green policies over the years, a lot of stuff we called bonkers 20 years ago is now mainstream. Every vote that is cast matters, even if your chosen candidate loses. This is the point missed by screaming muck fonkeys like Mr R Brand.
As the young vote has diminished so has political will to do anything for them. Pensioners vote in their droves and get looked after pretty well because they understand the maths. If you don't vote, the politicians ignore you as you won't be there to vote them out. Easy as taking a bath; which coincidentally is another trick Mr Brand seems unable to master.
Vote for the Sheep Lovers, vote Tory, Liberal, or even God forbid, Labour, just vote. It is important, the stupid bloody, gravy-train chasing retard Lutonians seeking power are not.
Wherever you are in this world, whenever you have the chance, in the name of good governance USE YOUR VOTE*!

Vote: If you can't decide who to vote for (or against) go up and spoil your ballot. But go.

I am against spoilt ballots on principal. Here in Woking the Tory will win, they have since 1950 and it's not about to stop any time soon. But they know who votes and which parties are gaining support. A Green vote here, or UKIP if you're dead from the neck up, is a message that they do not ignore.
A wasted ballot means nothing and is treated as such.

I disagree, spoilt ballots are counted, blank ballots should be counted, it is missing ballots that are ignored.
The number of people who were motivated enough to say none of the above is a valuable number.

The politico view is that you're not bothered about who represents you. It doesn't really matter to them if 90% spoil their ballot as long as they get the support of the rest. Then the 10% who do vote get treated better.
As a case in point, until the 1980's there was very little direct campaigning aimed at women. Their husbands told them which party to support and they did as they were told. As the independent female vote grew, so the parties started looking at women's issues. The first to really cotton into this was Labour with their Wimmin's Manifestos of the Kinnock years. Now the vote is canvassed for because the parties know it matters.
The same goes for spoilers, little is being done to appeal to them as their is nothing in it for the parties to encourage votes that may, or may not, go in their favour.

There has been something of a campaign for a "none of the above" box.
This would send a clear message of how many spoiled ballots are due to a concious decision to not select a candidate on the list, rather than a mistake on the part of the voter.
However it doesn't look like this will be happening any time soon.
