I think it comes down to the more experience you get, the more you realise how much there is that that you don't know or understand.

I think that this explains why my friends all think I'm belittling them when I say that a high school student could do just about everything I do with a little training. I seriously am not being arrogant, I just don't think it is all that hard or that I'm all that remarkable.

So it's after midnight, early Monday morning and I'm pissing about getting the new Samsung Galaxy S5 ready.
Used the recommended Samsung Smart Switch to get my data over after the initial setup and was just looking at the GPS app I have been using since the S2.
Start Navigon and it tells me I have to install an update before I can use it. Fine, on your bike and do it.
Not a chance, I have to create a Samsung Account. Faarrrkkkk you with a giant salami Samsung. I don't want your faarrrkkkking account.
What clusterfuck is this going to bring upon me when I finally create the faarrrkkkking thing cause I have no other choice?

On a tangential note...
My wife had a Samsung Stratosphere and the screen went bad (dim, glitchy, etc.) after a year or so. She replaced it with an S4 Mini (less that a year ago) and not the screen seems to be going bad (only dim so far).
I'm just wondering whether or not anyone else has had bad experiences with Samsung screens. (Maybe the top-of-the-line phones are OK?)

I don't like smart phone to begin with - but were my tale as is yours, I wouldn't be thinking about another Samsung to replace the last to defective ones.

Every mothering son of a bitch wants you to open an account with them, then they ALL want you to store your crap on their services. Microsoft, Google, Samsung, I got an Acer desktop and THEY want an account opened and all my photos, music, pron etc.
With 2 Samsung phone, a tablet and a TV from them we are pretty much tied into their ecosystem. And Kies is still the worst application ever inflicted on us (that includes iTunes) and Ghu forbid Crystal Reports.

I'm on site and on new phone now.
I will start a new thread when I get home to explain how big a clusterfuck I have from Samsung right now.
2 TV's (LCD and Plasma), 7 phones and thankfully no tablets (4 x Google Necus 7).

Nothing bad is going to happen when you create the account and use the phone in the manner that was intended. If you want individualism, then don't use Samsung products. Just saying.

To be honest, I possess a Sammie phone. It has a mind of its own but it does make calls so I shouldn't complain.
I have deliberately foregone the Samsung Shop experience because my intuition (what little there is) doesn't feel inclined to give so much personal information to total strangers. I also don't install any apps because I have yet to figure out why a solitaire game needs to access my photo album, contacts list and GPS location.
Why did I buy this phone? It was cheap and my trusty old Nokia N95 has finally bitten the dust.
I may not last forever but the mess I leave behind certainly will.

OK, now some o you will know what is this about... and some not (lucky ones).
Yesterday I finished with all that thing:
- At the end I had to get a new GPU (first step and the only one that was foreseen).
- Get a new PSU (it seemed the new GPU needed more juice to work).
- Get a new motherboard (the old one (HP) was not BIOS updated) and therefore it was not able to work with the motherboard unless the user made three strange steps which almost included sacrificing a hen).
- The new motherboard was not compatible with the fan mounting system from HP... dismantle everything again and get a new fan).
- Dismount again the computer, mount everything again... think about methods to kill the guy in the shop as the fan has a super fixing system that makes it almost impossible to mount as the fixing device almost touches the RAM chips.
- Find a way to mount it... try it... reactivate windows, drivers, a lot of restarts...
That was all, today they've called me as the fan was making strange noises... (a stupid cable was loose and tried to get into the fan) already solved (this has been done by themselves :''') ).
AAAAAAND that's all... now everyone is happy!
So for all the ones that helped: thank you very much.
For all the other ones learn (if you still have not) a lesson: NEVER EVER HELP SOMEBODY WITH ANYTHING RELATED TO IT.
