Interesting.
-- Your mention of the 23 enigma made me think of "23 skidoo" (which is related to what is said to be the most-used phrase in movies).
-- I realised that I had no idea of the origins of the phrase.
-- I googled it.
-- I foolishly opened a wikipedia page.
-- The wikipedia page said this of the phrase's origin:
"Although there are a number of stories suggesting the possible origin of the phrase, none has been universally accepted.[citation needed]"
-- I sighed with deep despair at the utter stupidity of the person who added a "[citation needed]" to a statement saying that not everyone agrees on something.
-- I concluded, for the thousandth time, that the best thing to do, when on a wikipedia page, is leave.
-- I 23-skidooed.
Cyclic coincidences like that don't just happen! There must be a reason for it!
