Nice, since the rest of the announcement is that from now on, you'll all be sharing one cubicle in which the heat and lights will turned on for 1 hour a day. This, they believe, will either increase team cooperation (sharing blankets, body heat, and the single dial-up telephone connection), or encourage telecommuting, either of which is bound to improve the profitability of the company.

Is there any noticeable improvement over Visual Studio 2013 Update 4 on 8.1?

Um...no. These aren't the release version. They will be - at best - beta. And Microsoft beta at that, which for a "Normal" company is alpha or less. And Microsoft will not guarantee that anything you do using a beta will work in any way, shape, or form with the release versions. So anything you do now had better be nothing you want to support past December, because there is a good chance it won't work at all after then...

They don't guarantee that with release versions either.
(Ah, the joys of taking a quote out of context, mwahaha!)

Are you referring to my Q&A questions? If so, no, that's because I'm finding myself kicking and screaming at MVC and EF and Razor, which is all a pile of rubbish IMO.

I installed on on my MacBook using Parallels 10 - didn't take too long, maybe a couple of hours
I really like the look of MVC6 although I'm going to have to change some of my existing code around routing.
I also think that the project.json file format makes sense but they could probably do with some kind of GUI for editing it in the final version (especially for large and/or complex project.json files).
