My first FCC license exam covered "valves" on one or two questions, and at school we had a room-sized analog computer running on triodes. It was a rare day when all amplifiers were up and running.

Did you try giving it a good thump?
Oh, wait. TVs are all computerised, these days...
Did you try turning it off and on again?

Yes I did! all the way along the back of the panel, just in case there was a loose connector or something...
I also gave the 2 relays on the power board a technical tap, just in case the contacts were stuck.
I did more searching and found a thread that the guy was reporting the same duff Vs and Va voltages and that confirms a failed main PSU board. Time will tell when the new one arrives.

I was going though the hit list on my site and I find it odd that someone from here[^] would pay me a visit?

The question is Mike: Are they suggesting you need a facelift or are they checking on the pics to grab a "Before" and "After"?

I have just registered interest as they mentioned registration is via invite only. I thought to share it with you clever lot, as it may interests lot of you....

Well, either they have the thing 100% written already and are just playing a marketing game, or their still pedal-to-the-metal in development. If the latter, then we'll probably see a "web site delayed."

Is it me, or did the latest update to Thunderbird give it the Relaxed View that Code Project came out with a while back?
I hate it on Thunderbird as much as I do on Code Project. The difference is here I can use a drop down to change it back to compact.

It was more than that, it was educational.

I've noticed that my profile image and that of others have all disappeared?
Are they going to be re-instated or do we need to re-upload them? When will this functionality be restored?

I don't see how asking a straight-forward question can be seen as being impatient.
