Rent the 20" if you can and get a little creative whichever saw you end up using. It's possible to cut through 3' of trunk with a smaller saw. You just have to do it in small wedges and account for the tree leaning into the cut the deeper you go. Don't even think of trying to cut the entire front wedge all at once.
On any one cut don't go deeper than half the width of the bar. This will help minimize the tree "grabbing" the bar and help you get the saw back out of the tree if it does.
I cut a couple of 3' trees with an 16" saw. It took me about and hour to do each one, not counting the problem I had on the first tree. I got the saw trapped hard and had to use a come-along between to the two trees to get the saw out.
The second one went much smoother.

you could check and see what they have that you could just change to a longer bar and chain whne you needed it.
Some support diferent sizes but I haven't had the need to look into it much.

You might be able to get a longer bar and chain, for your current saw.

Have seen this done. And have driven a few tons of the output down to the dump and back with little or no sweat generated in the process.

...and I am not a terrorist.
This movie[^] chokes me for some reason. I have seen it about 10 times and I can watch it again.
It is story of a Muslim guy with Aspergers/Autism whose Hindu wife told him to come back only after he tells the USA president that his name is Khan and he is not a terrorist. This is placed around 9/11 mishap. She said so since her kid was killed just because he was a Muslim. IMHO, this is best thing Sharukh Khan has done in past 15 years of his acting career.
Love it. Back to movie folks.

Only because Shah Rukh Khan supported muslims, you appreciated, when he became a hindu soldier and fought against Pakistan in Main Hoon Na you hated him?
Look, these movie guys are not real! They're called "actors", the one who acts. You shouldn't just try to like or dislike them for who they are in the movies, but try to appreciate their work in real life.
I - to an extend - am a fan of SRK, but My name is Khan is not the only movie that was great, in bollywood 3 idiots is also a great movie (whose background is the 3 extraordinary students, who were put in wrong field, they loved something else, but their parents wanted them to become an engineer and they were never able to become an engineer, so they made their parents realize their problem; Amir Khan was the main guy behind all this). Being a muslim in any way, does not mean that I am a terrorist!
I am a muslim, and I have firm belief in Love for all, Hatred for none, and that terrorism, is never tolerated by Islam or any muslim, in any form.
+1 for the topic however.

Huh? You do realise I can understand what a movie is. I like that movie and work of one actor. Period.

Sorry, but that description wasn't for you. We're in the Lounge so there are other people around too. I don't want to seem like a Martian to them while naming movies around.

I can bet most people around here know what a movie is.

Does OriginalGriff knows that? -_- Just people here from Sub-continent like you and me from India or Pakistan know it, or the people who have a background of Sub-continent know about that movie. We're not talking about Oscar winning "Slumdog Millionare" that might be well-known among people.

What are you up to? It is a simple post. I like one movie and that is it.

Listen brother, I have no beef with you and this is a public platform, you post what you like but you must then listen to what others have. I like My name is khan, but not to the level of awesomeness. I didn't mean to piss you, but, it seems that is whats going on around here, next time try to post stuff that you can handle the criticism and opinions for.
Over and out! Peace.

I take the opposite view (that you should completely ignore who the actor is, and only think of the performance/character), because every actor I've met (not a low number) has been at least a complete disappointment, and at worst a complete [something non-kid-sister-friendly].

Yes, I was just trying to explain this fact to our Indian fellow here! Who never try to take and understand things logically, and try to get as much beef as they can.
I was just saying, movie was OK, but trying to start chanting "Shah Rukh, Shah Rukh" isn't a good way! He is not the same in real life.
But, oh well, its his point of view, what can I say.

The bank where i work is having a re-org, and I need to choose a title for myself
My current title is "Senior IT support", where i get to handle tickets, either directly by development or by assigning tickets to vendors.
My new responsibilities are the following:
1. Working exclusively on ongoing projects, no support. (Yay! )
2. No internal development, all projects assigned to vendors, closed box with no source code. (Boo )
3. Handling all technical aspects of new and ongoing projects (technical review, deployment, testing, giving feedback to PMs, etc.)
The following titles are initially rejected during brainstorming with my team members:
1. Software Developer (no development going on!)
2. IT Consultant (rejected since we are the on the client side (Que unfunny puns))
3. The Man (i thought it was good)
4. IT Specialist (too broad)
5. IT Architect (invalid since the vendor will usually architect the system, we only review)
6. IT Analyst (implies you are doing analysis most of the time, while most of our work will be review, implementation and testing.
So what do you call a software developer, that doesn't do any development, is involved in the technical aspect of projects and is on the receiving end of projects ?

Seems to me like it has an abstract keyword appended to it. You're not having any thing to do, but still you're the base for doing everything. Wow!

I want that as my title, FFS.
