Yeah that sounds a little weird that his best friend was there.

They got married on the island too, often when that happens some of the guests from the wedding stay on for some or all of the honeymoon.
Although others going on a honeymoon is not that unusual even with a home wedding first.
Just the three of you on a honeymoon, however, would be very, very weird.

The tories are the right wing conservative party, and I have seen a lot of signs saying 'no more tory rule' and so on.
Is this what its really about and not so much independence?
One thing is for certain, since Scotland is almost entirely liberal / labour, loosing those seats from the voting in whats left of the UK will guarantee that only Tory govet will ever get elected again!

It must be the Tory thing - the rest of Canada is also looking to separate from Ottawa. The rest of Canada pledges their loyalty to Canada ....

I finally got my house today. Bought over a year ago and got the keys today.
It's nice and big and empty.
Now comes the annoying part... Doing the floors, walls, etc. Having them done costs a lot of money, doing it myself... Haha, who am I kidding, I need to LIVE in that house, no way I'm going to mess it up by doing my own floors and walls (I got two left hands, or right, since I'm actually a lefty, although I'm also a bit two-handed since I can do a lot with both hands, anyway the thing I can't do with either of my hands is using a tool properly)
I also met my neighbours, they seem like nice people!

Good call! I hadn't thought of that... despite having done the same thing 15 years ago.

Don't houses normally come with the floors and walls already in them?

Sure, concrete floors and walls. Not very homely.

Don't forget the wall paintings and some plants when you furnish it. And the entertainment center. And a bed large enough for more than one, um, person. And a hands free toilet. Gotta have the hands free toilet.

I do have some pics, just not online. The profiles I have online don't support photo hosting (like CP)

There are sites like imgur or you can use your personal space on CP. You can't just tell us about it with no pics, that's not even right!

Wow, I just found the 'My uploads' section here on CP, never knew that was there!
Anyway, there's a reason I don't have such profiles.
You're welcome to visit though (it's in the Netherlands). So I'll see you saturday around 1pm?
