Some "added security" system from IBM (yeah right, like I believe IBM actually wrote it, and like I want to install anything IBM wrote.) The last time I looked at an IBM product (Rational Rose) I puked. But this was a good many years ago.
Receive alerts about potentially illegitimate sites.
Rapport lets you know if you may have landed on a fake website that gathers personal information like Social Security numbers, user names and passwords.
Block malware that attempts to steal sensitive information.
Rapport alerts you if malicious software, or malware, attempts to intercept or steal your personal information.
I do NOT want to install more crap (I already have enough) that sits in the background making decisions.
But the real question is, why should I trust this software?
Oh, and the bank is Berkshire Bank. Not a bad bank actually, free personal and business checking, their customer service has been fantastic, reasonable website.

Don't install it. I think it's legitimate software, but it caused trouble on a friends pc - slowness and the 3G modem didn't want to work anymore. After uninstalling it everything was working again.

My bank wanted the same c**p installed. It is a nasty piece of junk, it slows down everything. I uninstalled it and now my browser is back to normal.

My bank used to insist it was installed, and it gave me no problems. Except when Chrome updated itself, at which point the bank web site threw a hissy fit because it wasn't properly installed and wouldn't update.
Although it never gave me any problems, it never did anything to spot "dodgy" sites so it's possible it was just sitting there twiddling it's electronic thumbs...

What they really mean is; We already have most of your personal information and we would like to get the rest including the ability to track your movements on the web so we can sell your information to marketing people or the highest bidder. But instead of saying we sold it we just tell you we got hacked and the information was taken from us so you'll feel better and we're off the hook.

I don't think I would install it. I am not really sure that it would "help" so much

Common sense helps as well for that
