Indeed, and that's why I second this[^] suggestion of yours. Once we have a dedicated page for approving the articles, all relevant details (like number of votes, list of approvers and so on..) can be made available over there.

Not to me in particular, but to everybody. For the sake of transparency.
Also because I want to be able to ask them what makes them think where the standards for "article" were met in this tip. Maybe I am all wrong and this document mets the criteria for an article, but then I want to understand why, so I can improve my moderation skills for the next.

Yes, it probably would. Does it matter? It's a bit of writing about something, tip, article - who cares?
What I see this as is a suggestion to moderate the moderators. I don't think I've ever approved anything (maybe once and I found something of a chore) so the icing on the cake would be somebody challenging it.
The bloke has written something which is short but has merit. I think it should appear.

And? What will you do with that list?
The functionality you suggested is good but will be of no use without any action. Solution can be
1) You flagged the item as Wrong Type
2) Popup comes asking the type. Enter the type you think it should be and proceed.
3) Thats it.
After certain number of such votes(Wrong type. It should be Tip),change its type. This is similar to what we have in place right now for approval.

And I want transparency to be able to debate about article "must" contents. Otherwise, I can go farming reputation points like I suspect some do and blindly approve of everything.

Well, I am not so sure. Mans buildings are no more than cliffs to wildlife, and happily use them as such; our house is a veritable zoo for bats, lizards, nesting birds, scorpions and all sorts of spiders, bees, wasps and creepy crawly stuff. And the cats cant get them in the loft space either.
Motorway embankments and verges have long been recognised as cross country transit routes for all sorts of wildlife since they are not farmed, continuous ribbons of wild nature. Train tracks too.
So lets say we don't grow in population, already achieved in Europe, and don't actively pollute the world, by not chucking chemicals into it, I don't see why man AND his activities cant fit into nature perfectly well.
Any objections?
