It seems to me that web developer covers too wide a category these days. I work for an online financial services firm, people are very testy when it comes to their cash. For that reason all the actual processing is done in SQL Server stored procedures. Yes, the front end is displayed using ASP, but that's a rather small part of our time. However, there are plenty of HTML editors out there calling themselves web devs. It's not really worth the trouble worrying about it as far as I'm concerned - but possibly that's because I wasn't burdened with a male ego at birth Roll eyes | :rolleyes:

As Paul said, web app's are used by many people, but then probably not as many people as use MS's app's. I think the survey is fair Smile | :)
