I have precisely two Elvis songs in my music library, both early versions. For me, toward the end of his life it sounded like he was imitating his imitators. (Netflix has an interesting documentary called Elvis '56. You get a sense why he got so big, though it still largely mystifies me.)

I've been putting together a new website for myself using SquareSpace, which is pretty friendly as easy to set up stuff quickly. Anyways, any comments, suggestions, criticism of what will become my new home[^] is appreciated.

For those of us who live here, the "average Article rating" makes sense, because we know it's 1..5 so 4.61 is pretty damn good. But...I'd leave it out, or add "/5" at the end if this is for reading by non-CPers.
It would also be nice having that link to your articles list - the same way the text link does on the "About" page.
The about page is a bit text-heavy - it could use "breaking up" a bit - images perhaps? It just smacks you in teh face a bit after the clean, minimalist front page.
I like the puddy-tat! 
Overall, that's pretty good - clean, easy on the eye and holds the info.

A quick look on my tablet says the same thing: nice site to browse, but the "About" page looks even heavier

The text "160 articles" links, but I also made clicking the image link to the article list as well.

Cool. It's a bit odd, but I like the idea of having some humor in the site, and "waking up the kitty" is the idea behind filling out the contact form.

I sent a feedback message via the contact page to see if that works!
I would personally take the email address of the page, if people want to get hold of you, they make the initial contact via the contact form. Also, you will want to have some form of basic Captcha or you will be spammed to death by the form robots.
Oh, the feedback message was about the message on the blog page, so hopefully you get the message.

Looks good on Opera / Windows 7.
I like the nice clean newspaper look.
Navigation is easy and I can learn about you and your projects easily and quickly.
One challenge was that I couldn't find links to your articles.
Was a bit confused by the codeproject snapshot and thought there was a link to your articles there.
Is there one there that isn't showing up in Opera?
Then I scrolled down to section showing list of articles and thought maybe I'd get links to your articles there, but nothing there either. Is that by design? Just offering constructive criticism.
All looks good / navigable / readable otherwise.
I actually wish my own site looked anything close as clean to this.

I'm quite pleased with SquareSpace (except the site looks like crap in IE, but they're working on that.) I've gotten customer service responses in under an hour from them, they seem quite good.

Software Engineer?
The title font is coming in as jagged, Chrome, windows 7. Could be my setup here at work.
I like the clean look. I'm a big fan for clean and simple.
I put software engineer because that is an architect and developer, really and it is common place title in the industry.

Happens to me too. Looks best if FF. I'm trying to figure out how to use a different global font.

Oddly, I just got a call out of the blue from a potential prospect because they were googling for "software architect" and came across my ancient Screwturn Wiki site!
I changed the heading to "Professional Software Architecture Consulting and Development", but I'm living with it to see if I really like it.

It's good as a sitemap, but I'd think more about the main message for the main page and move the list of links down for the interested or put them on another page. It's difficult to find anything for the eye to rest on except the black image and that doesn't seem to be the real focus.

Exactly. Since that's my app, I changed the screen colors so the background is now white and re-snapped it. The big black blotch was also a problem for me.

Agreed with OrigGriff on the "4.61 / 5" rating.
I was expecting some of the text on the main page to be links to more detailed info on the same.
I liked reading the About. The more I read, the more I desired to read. Thus, a good amount of text.
Overall, I like it. I'll give it another look-see this afternoon, when the coffee has worn off and I'm more grumpy.
Misc. Notes
Of your typing Ctrl+C to crash the PDP-11, I purposely crashed the TRS-80's at my school, including hacking the startup floppy disks to display hack msgs to other classmates on how their (then-80's) hair was wickedly outdated.
Good choice to not include on the Home page "I'm 36.23% the man that @OriginalGriff is" in relation to your 391,711 CP points vs. his 1,081,167 CP points.  (Just don't include yer 5671.26% more the man than I am!!)
