Hello all!
Mrs. Wife and me are thinking on adding some gadget into the car...
We own a C class Mercedes that has no Bluetooth neither aux-in port but it has al the steering wheel buttons to answer the call...
We would like to get the opportunity to use hands-free and to listen to the music on our cell phones using the car.
I've seen two options, the first one is the Parrot UNIKA[^] which allows us to use the in-steering wheel buttons to use our phone, but it cost a lot of €.
And I've also seen the VIETA VC-TF140BK[^] which looks interesting as it makes what we want for 30€.
Anyone here has tried it with an android phone? any opinions or advice?

I recall a 3 year old discovering the window buttons. When I hit the "parent lock" on the window, I discovered the 3 year old's maximum decibel level. Perhaps you were talking about older children? But then you invariably have to listen to their music, which defies all recognition of anything musical in the content. Not to mention the inane amount of channel surfing.
The upshot is, the buttons are on the steering wheel for a reason!

I was being a smart butt, as usual and really thinking of the old days before TV remotes when we kids were used as the remove.
Mickey (what everyone used to call me) get up and change channel.
It's fuzzy adjust the rabbit ears...higher, higher...Ok right there hold it. 
Youngsters on here probably won't remember such things.

I've used a Dension[^] for my car and it worked great while it worked. Bluetooth streaming and in-car call handling was OK (though sound quality not great on Bluetooth) but it did allow me to plug my iPhone in and stream / charge which was great.
It lasted about 9 months and then the bluetooth module gave up the ghost, but it still works when the phone's physically plugged into it.
About $US250 (I think from memory)

Another indication that Toyotas are better than Mercedes. 
My 2013 Corolla has that standard, linked my Droid with hardly any effort (the sales guy did it). But I usually listen to music off a USB flash drive rather than the phone. If (and only if) I have the system set to play music from the phone, then navigation instructions are played through the car as well.
The biggest issue is that the Toyota system is crap at randomizing tracks.

I currently have 3 on the go on my desktop at home, it's very nice, considering adding a 4th to the mix!
Anybody done this already, I would need a bigger desk, is it worth it?

The sweet spot for me is 3 monitors.
That's the setup I had, until I moved my primary workstation to a Surface Pro...I have it hooked up to an external USB3 dock (Plugable UD-3000), and it's now running those 3 monitors. With the tablet itself, that's 4 display devices, and frankly, I hardly ever use the 4th one.
That's not to say I hadn't tried it until then--but I had come to the same conclusion; I don't use the 4th one.
All three monitors are 24" 1920x1200; two in portrait mode, the third in landscape. Works well enough for VS and tons of floating windows.

I only have the two: 1 portrait and one landscape. But if I expanded, then four would be nice: two landscape at the sides, with two portrait stacked in the middle to be about the same size.
But I'm not sure it would be a massive improvement: it's going to take a lot of head movement where I can do it all with eye movement at the moment.

All that being said, I'm intrigued by LG's 34" 21:9 4K monitor. I've been tempted more than once to replace my entire setup with a single 4K display (ok, I'll probably leave at least one of the 24-inchers hooked up)...

I know what you mean, but...it's so handy to be able to maximise and fill a just one screen, or WinKey+Left to fill half of it - you reduce the "ease of manipulation" with a single screen. How often do you want an application that fills your entire vision? Even with graphics work, I have the detailed zoom on one whole screen, and a zoomed out overview and the toolboxes on the other.
