I have a suggestion: if a question gets closed, keep the answers. Currently, only the question is shown, but to avoid situations like this, it might be a good idea to show the answers too.

But it will not be useful because you won't get any direct way to access that question. Currently, the solution will be intact if it gets opened.

What do you mean by that? I can click on your link to that question, and then I can see it without doing something else. It's just in a locked state, but I can get direct access to it.

Just because you have link right now. We can not access it like everyone do in QA. So why to show solution there in dead thread? Not clear to me.

Ah, right, I see what you mean. Then it is not very helpful indeed.

I moved my technical blog to a new location four weeks ago and then complained that CP was ignoring my RSS feed, except for three old articles that it pulled (which were dupes from the old location that I had to delete)
I would just like to remind whoever was investigating it to please keep working on it. Thanks!

I'm trying to schedule some time this week to look into this.
IT really makes no sense to us: your feed and content seem fine.
I'll track it down.

Hi guys,
I wanted to publish articles using the "Technical Blog Feeds" feature. However from 2 days the status of the feed for "Last Polled" is Never. http://automatetheplanet.com/feed/[^]
Account URL: http://www.codeproject.com/script/Articles/BlogFeedList.aspx?amid=11449574[^]
Any ideas?
Thank you in advance for the help!

It looks like there may be an error on your feed and I am unable to view it properly. Could you please address the error it is giving first?
Thanks,

Yeah, the problem was in my feed, there were strange symbols. Once removed, everything worked like a charm!

Hello,
A few of my articles have their source code courrupcted. This happened recently and I honestly don't know the reason. Would you guys help me out here?
On of them was already fixed but I am having trouble with two of them: NHibernate Setup for ASP.NET[^] and TinyMCE and ASP.NET MVC - advanced features[^].
I've checked the others and they are OK but I would ask you to see why this is happening, please.
Best Regards,
Eduardo

I'll ask the dev team to take a look into it. In the meantime, could you please email me the code in a .rar, or renamed .zip (ie .notzip) file, along with the URLs to the articles on which that code belongs?
Thanks,
Sean Ewington

Actually I think you just need to add a closing tag, then you can do it. Otherwise, it's a no go I'm afraid

This morning there was a question that I commented on. I had hoped that I could get back to it and provide a proper response later, but now it's gone and I can't even tell who asked the question or if they reasked it. What happened to it? Any chance of bringing it back from the dead?

You'll never get very far if all you do is follow instructions.
