Usually, abuse reports cause automatic removal of the abusing posts, so people cannot see what was wrong. And remember, some abuse reports can be questionable. It "looks good" on your resume to have articles published - until of course the potential employer looks at them and realises they are rubbish and / or plagiarised. Trouble is it's easier to copy and paste, and some people don't realize that everything is moderated - and we're all pretty good at spotting plagiarism now.
