Exactly. That bug happened a few week ago, but solved. Chris told that it was a cache issue. Now it is back and makes QA work a nightmare... More nightmare than usual I mean...

His account was reported being abuse [Large list of self accepted answers]. I think on request, Admins have reinstated it. Now, he is with us with same list of answers. Does this mean all his content is acceptable?

No it does not.
I've (quickly) gone through a number of his answers and can't see self-answered ones. Can you fire us a quick list of the offending ones?

OK, he's gone.
I have no problem with someone posting a question, working on it, finding the answer, and then posting a "hey - I worked it out - here it is". However, this is a repeated, continuing pattern so no, not cool.

I agree, but I often see those kind of answers being downvoted. I think there was some talk about not giving the OP points for self-answering, but I don't know if that was actually implemented.
It can also be hard for us at times to determine if the OP posted an answer "too soon" after posting the question - sometimes there is no date/time displayed, just "yesterday" and we will have to go poking around in the revision lists to figure that out.

OP posted an article which should have been a Tip.
I proceeded to edit and change type to Tip and status Pending. On publishing there was an error (got the hamsters picture).
It appears that the OP had also gone in and edited to Tip and submitted again.
When I entered the revised article via the moderation queue, I was simply presented with a blank article and a message saying "this is an autosaved blah blah blah, do you want to discard or continue editing"
Now the bug......the discard was in normal font and did not appear as clickable like the continue editing link. However, out of curiosity I clicked the discard and it was still clickable.

If the article is Pending moderation then there will be two forums: 1 for the pending version and 1 forum that is for the published version.
Going back to that version after the article has been published should not allow posting to the version's forum, only the 'current' forum.

I can see in the notification that you posted a comment on the very same - old - version, however the post does not show up when seeing the article!
The user posted should not be able to bookmark an 'in-queue' version, so how he got there?!

Although the CP newsletter advertises the "Which email clients do you use?" poll, the home page continues to show last week's poll. Ctrl/F5'd, naturally. The problem occurs on Web01, Web02 and Web03.
The problem is also visible at http://www.codeproject.com/script/Surveys/List.aspx[^].
Edit: Just noticed the newsletter also includes a link to the old survey.

There were problems with that article (plagiarized) as the author was banned while the article was approved. I think Marco took over to delete it...(now it's deleted)

No it shows that it was deleted by reports
