Hi everyone,
I'm currently in the process of designing an app, but need to know if this is possible first. I want to design the app to be able to reject a call before it gets as far as notifying the phones owner (through ringing) or even on the screen. It would essentially just be blocking a phone number, but there is more to this that I can't discuss yet. This is in no way looking to be malicious. If this possible? and if so, are there sample codes to this type of situation?

Hi all.
I would very much like to get into Android development but am mostly familiar with Visual Studio as that is the IDE we used at university. Is it possible to use Visual Studio to develop Android applications or should I go open source? If open source, which one is best? NetBeans?

Hello,
Our company developing product for mobile devices discovery, authentication, transaction management, data transfers.
In brief, we have made:
authentication and key exchange protocol (Kerberos-like) and TLS-PSK for encryption (using BouncyCastle)
embedded http/webdav client/server running on device - for data exchange
UPnP - for device discovery
device management - notify when device become online/offline, authentication requests, incoming files, etc
transaction management - for transfers control

MapMyRide is a good example, but if you want to write your own then you should do some research into the various libraries and features that are needed for such an application.

Hi all
I want to make an AR app that will be using GPS. I found a couple of frameworks, but I found one called Wikitude that seems to fit my needs, the problem is that i have no idea how to develop using that. I've tried to search for tutorials, but i got no luck, or i just don't understand what they say.
I'd like to know if i'm using the right framework. What i'm trying to do is an app that will present POIs whenever you are (a certain distance) close to the coordinates of that POI.
At least i would like someone to point me towards a Wikitude in-depth tutorial, since i found none. Or another simple framework that has a decent in-depth tutorial, as long as it supports GPS

No, but that doesn't help me much. Wikitude is not a must, it can be any other framework as long as it works with ADT and has GPS. But if Wikitude is really the best for my case then i need some kind of in-depth guide or tutorial to get me started because i have no idea how to develop on this, and IMO Wikitude does not offer enough documentation on that matter
I could try to ask for help on the forum. I will do it, but i'm afraid it won't do much

Then you need to go and look for one, on whatever framework you decide to use. No one else can make the decision for you.

Hi Everyone,
I am here to look forward for help if anyone knows the solution of my problem.
I am trying to update status by using Socia lauth library,but in place of dialog box i want to update status by an activity. Its done by Dialog box but not by activity.
I have two activities - one activity contains the two button one is login and other is next button, as i click on login then it authenticate successfully and on clicking next I come on next activity which contain a edit-text and button. In edit text i typed my msg and on button click I call updateStatus() method of Social auth.But I am getting the response from server i.e error 403..
Kindly help me out??
