Europop has been a well known area of trash culture to be laughed at for many years. I'm not sure it's entirely the US's fault, they've been taking bits of our (British) pop culture for it for ages.

It's a bootable memory stick[^] with a PC version of Android on it that will boot any PC, even if it doesn't have an HDD. They have given one to each child at the school, the idea being that if they download a virus it can't affect anyone else sharing the computer. So each child carries his favourite, preferences (and virii) with him from computer to computer.
And a small chunk of an enormous African slum gets connected to the internet (via the traditional carrier bag router and "unofficial" electricity) and a bunch of children get a small-but-noticeable chance to improve themselves and maybe, just maybe, work their way out of the slum.

Not to rain on your parade, but I'm gonna play grandpa here and say they had that back in the 70s. We called them floppy disks you insert to boot a computer to boot it. There were no internal disks. It became obsolete. Go figure. Then booting from internal drives became the cool thing. Now it's the non-cool thing. Damn I'm sounding old.
And there's no such word as virii. Look it up.
Hope this ever so friendly, informative, yet slightly annoying message brings you joy as it slams your post on this fine Mother's Day.

How does one go about approving an article. I have the privilege for it now but I can't figure out how to do it.

At the top of the article you will see a box, within which is a line like:
Approve or report this article:
with a box to the right. Hover your mouse over the box and you will see the possible choices. At the bottom of the article are the forums for making comments to tell the author whether you liked it or if you have suggestions for improvement, or why you are rejecting it.

It still takes votes: you can't do it on your own.
Go to the Home page: http://www.codeproject.com/[^] and look on teh right hand side:
There is a section "NN items need approval" - wave you mouse over and a list will appear.
Pick a subject you know something about (which will be more than the author does for many of 'em) and click on it.
Examine, read, and decide. Then you just use the icon next to "Approve or report this article:" to select one of teh options.
It's a good idea to include a message at the bottom when you reject though, as without that it's difficult if not impossible for the author to improve.
Oh, and you'll need a link here as well: http://www.codeproject.com/Forums/1652005/Spam-and-Abuse-Watch.aspx[^] to mark up plagiarism and spam. And there is a lot of that!
Please, don't let rubbish through, no matter who it came from, and first time plagiarists generally get a warning rather than an "Spam and abuse" posting, unless they have been here long enough to know it's a big no-no.
Spammers just get marked in S&A, and terminated with extreme prejudice!

A Nebraska cable TV network ponied up $266,500 for Roy Rogers' stuffed and mounted horse, Trigger, at an auction in New York City on Wednesday.
The movie cowboy's faithful companion was bought by the cable company RFD-TV in Omaha.
All of the stuff went to individuals, highest bidder and got a lot more than they anticipated.

Interesting read about the Auction linked in the OP. It seems that Roy said that the family could sell off all of the stuff if the Museum became a burden.

It saddens me I used to watch Roy and Trigger, and others when younger and had great admiration for them. I think if the kids would have went one step further and made it a western movies/series museum with Roy and Dale as part of it it might have fared better. Who knows!, maybe people like us just want to remember the way it was?

We are what is called on a sail boat the after guard. After reaching a certain age you don't go out on the foredeck to wrestle with the sails anymore. You sit in the cockpit and do things like stear or navigate.
Our generation is long past determining popular culture. It is time to give it up and realize that we are no longer the driving force, but just an afterthought.
We had our day and now it is time for the young to have their time. They too will come to pass and watch the generation after them have at it.
