Comparing a racial epitaph to exterminating the Jews is patently offensive if you want to be honest.

It would be difficult for me to imagine how someone could mis-read my post more than what you've done here.
The entire theme of my post is the rage over an epitaph is ridiculous coming from people who do not express the same rage over the plight of poor children in our inner city communities. In short, we've a real holocaust of sorts going on in the USA and things as trivial as a slur gets the press.
My guess is that you're a liberal since you've entirely missed the point and are more offended by an extermination that happened 70 years ago than you are over the one happening today.

When you encourage people to have children so they can collect more money/welfare the number of throw away kids swells the streets of an already over populated ghetto which causes more crime and the cycle continues.
And I totally agree that Oprah is an idiot, now that she made her money she shows herself for what she is...a racists.
Along with Antimatter and Dark Matter they've discovered the existence of Doesn't Matter which appears to have no effect on the universe whatsoever!

I agree with most of what you say, and the guy is not a racist. He might be a bore, a twit, or a bigot. What do normal people do when they encounter people like this? We walk away. We avoid them. We skip their posts. All he did was verbalize thoughts in his own home.
In listening to the comments in the media, I see the typical racial sluts showing up - the Rev. Jacksons, Oprah, etc. None of which have any say in this matter.
Setting that aside, the NBA and the owners have a right to protect their investments. Threaten league revenue, and you've stepped in it. Fair enough. I'm sure there are some contract stipulations governing behavior. With that said, the timing of all of this makes me wonder if it wasn't a setup....
The comical part about this is that every professional player is a big boy. They are the cream of the crop, or the would not be there. It's very, very hard for me to see someone like Barkley or Kobe or some other player getting their feelings hurt... Pay me millions / year - you can call me white boy all you want.

It is my understanding that the Clippers, after decades of ineffectiveness, have finally started to win.
Looks like someone wants to buy the team on the cheap.

Exactly, follow the money.
So, the NBA will "force" him to sell. Being the bore that he is, they are in for one hell of a fight. Me thinks the team won't be sold for cheap...

I work on a laptop - allows me to work at the customer site and the home office. If the damn dog would stop barking, I'd work at home more. To support all of the development I do, I went out and purchased a 10 port USB powered hub expander. At the moment, I have two USB to Ethernet adapters, two usb to rs232, a multiformat CF card reader, a smart phone, and some other things I can't quite figure out.
Works flawlessly... I like it when technology works.
How much USB devices do you use?

All the time. I use one port for internet and one for charging phones. Other than that, one for backing up my data on to another hard disk.

Mouse and keyboard are wireless and I rarely use them. I have become so accustomed to track pad that I can even play computer games without needing a mouse.

I hate wireless keyboards and mice. Both because they run out of battery when I don't have a spare, and it's too easy to lose the mouse. At least with a wired one I can just follow it back...

But with wired ones, I miss the opportunity to use chopping board as mouse pad while operating computer from kitchen.

Mouse, keyboard, graphics tablet, phone cradle, tablet (occasionally), external HDD, MP3 player. I think that's the lot.
Everything else is direct onto the LAN or wireless.

This is interesting : you have made up a (laptop brand independent) docking station using a USB hub and some adpaters, correct ?

I guess if you phrase it that way...
I've got all sorts of hardware I need to connect to. I develop in Embedded VC++, VS2008 for CE devices and some desktop development. Depending on the project, I need static IPs, DHCP, one or more serial ports, etc. It's not as simple as connecting keyboards and mice. I don't really like docking stations, as I consider them overpriced. I $30 10 port USB hub does the trick.
I just got to thinking about how I just slap more and more devices in there, and it all seems to work....
