I usually don't bring personally offensive behavior to discussion, but this case is a bit different; this member cheated: after having my answer followed by long discussion on how to actually use it and a lot of wrong OP's codes, he posted how own solution and accepted it formally ("green button"). After my note that it does not look nice, he admitted that he got the solution from stackoverflow (nothing new, of course; but how it could be "solved myself"? ), the rude accusation shown above appeared.
There are only 2 OP's answers, his first answer also was self-accepted. In some cases, this is acceptable, but…

Even if OP tried to impersonate the whole site based on this case, I don't think this is my fault. I don't think this is acceptable behavior. I personally like to help people who can actually use help, instead of blaming colleagues trying to help.

People are people. Just act in a way you, yourself, would like to be treated and don't get sucked into abusive conversations.
(As a total off-topic comment: it would have been nicer if question and answers were updated instead of all the solutions / code going into the comments. Makes it very hard to find the actual solution)

I could be nicer, but just not sure that being nicer to some people would serve the common good. You could have noticed that I did not say any rude words but noted "See how it looks…" I'm not sure if you noticed that I wasn't "sucked in abused conversations" as you put it; right after the rude words were told, I didn't tell a single argument.
Probably you should understand that tolerating some kinds of behavior indirectly offends those who behave decently. I'm not saying the reputation of the whole site suffers much if other users see those bad words are tolerated, but it depends on some cultural differences…

I have been down that road too where you go back and forth with the poster "Try this code..." followed by "It did not solve the problem" and I reply with "Then try this line of code there..." with the intention of eventually updating the Solution when the problem is solved.
[As an example, our back and forth here[^] stalled, but I still want to go back, solve the problem (this time I will simply create a small project with his code and get it working on my system), then update my solution because it concerns a control that I think is nice, but can be a bit tricky to get working correctly.]

I signed up again just to let you know this. This was wrong. Very wrong.
I was very excited and looking forward to writing and posting articles here, have been very disappointed at how new users are discouraged to write and contribute.

Yes Agreed, those 2 question were taken from the site, because they were explained very well. I am new to the site and this was my first attempt at writing a post here, i didnt know whether we had to mention the references, else why would I miss a chance to redirect users to my own site ?
Having said that, just for taking these two questions do I deserve this ? Account closed and reason stated - Your account at CodeProject has been reported as The member is being abusive or is a troll 10 times and is now deactivated.
Still waiting for the mods to reply to this. :'(

You don't have to give reference to your website/blog. You should give credit to the website/person where originally you copied the content from. And this should be done even in your blog.

But in a straight plagiarism case, Admins aren't needed - his account can be closed without bothering them.

Agreed here. But somehow I feel that if it is a first offence and the user is new then it looks harsh to remove them. My personal opinion though.

No, I'd agree with you, it would be harsh.
But... The OP wasn't new, he had been here long enough to know the rules. And as he said earlier, he had tried twice before. Whether those were copies as well I don't know.

Sometimes they duration that shows in profile could not be a case to suggest that user is here for long enough. I see lot of people sign up here for some code download and don;t come back again for long.
But it is also true that we don't have any alternate way to identify this as well.
Anyway it is just a basic common sense to know that plagiarism is an offence.

He might have written both at the same time and would have made the same mistake. I too haven't seen that so not sure on that.

The material was copied from another persons work, and claimed as yours when you posted it having checked the box marked "I have read and agree to the contributor's agreement" and pressed "Publish". The agreement clearly states:
Ownership.
You represent, warrant, and confirm that:
No Infringement: To the best of your knowledge and belief, after reasonable inquiry, your Work does not knowingly infringe the rights of any third party, including but not limited to, rights in copyrights, patents, trade marks, service marks, trade secrets, privacy, personality, or other proprietary rights.You have necessary Rights to your Work: You are the author of the Work and have not assigned your rights or had such rights vest in any third party by contract, operation of law or otherwise or if not the author, you have secured all necessary rights and licenses from the owner(s); and you have the right to grant the rights and licenses contained herein.
Copy and paste from anothers work is an infringement of that, and as all moderators have produced articles we know just how hard it is to write one. Our sympathies are thus with the original author who poured blood, sweat and tears into getting the words right: all so you could press CTRL+A, CTRL+C, ALT+TAB, CTRL+V then claim you wrote it.
That is abuse. And you had been here long enough to know that.
