Dear single Santa,
Sorry to hear about your issues with your ex-wife and the delivery man.
Maybe you shouldn't stick the car anywhere, but just hold onto it, you'll need it to get around once your deer peg it. I'll give you a 100 for the reindeer carcass, I have a buyer that will use them in next summer seasons burgers (don't think anyone will notice).
I managed to track down the attorney for your ex-wife and made an offer on the toy shop. Fair price as well, I'll sell it back to you at cost (+expenses+management fee of 25%).
You might be able to move somewhere colder to get away from the slush.
Anyway, all the best big man.
Ho Ho Ho,

Gee that reminds me of a particular Kevin Bloody Wilson song. Still not sure I'm better-off for knowing it. But it sure is a laugh!

Well, I don't know who the driver was, but it definitely wasn't J Clarkson Esq.!

Went to buy the Nexus 5 today on Google Play. Leaves warehouse by 2013-12-11 so I click buy, enter details, even splurge for next day shipping (my phone is broke anyway) Click agree and purchase ... all of the shipping dates "magically change" to 2013-12-16. I click cancel. At least they have the 60 second grace period after clicking buy.
It's funny, the reason I shop online is because they are supposed to have stuff. If I wanted to "wait" for it to be available I could shop retail : )

I tried it few days back and saw a little line stating: "The phone will leave warehouse after 2-3 weeks.". To me, this was OK. I could wait for a while since on play store, it was cheaper.

It isn't the wait, it is the fact that before I clicked place order the leave date was 2013-12-11 and after I clicked pay it "magically changed" to 2013-12-16. In my mind that is deceptive.

That's weird. Cause when I tried, this was on first page.

It may have been other people buying faster than you caused all units from that batch to be allocated?
|
|
|
|

No the home page for the order still shows 2013-12-11. Just false advertising by Google, no big deal
|
|
|
|

Or it could be due to caching.
|
|
|
|

You have to click faster...

I remember a Website that replayed the Video automatically after playtime elapsed
if(this.signature != "")
{
MessageBox.Show("This is my signature: " + Environment.NewLine + signature);
}
else
{
MessageBox.Show("404-Signature not found");
}

Wait, this one is just next to YouTube. Little cat like thingy with a baseball bat.

Sounds interesting
what i meant was the replay instead of tube in the URL.
www.youtube.com/video1
www.youreplay.com/video1
but dunno if this still works
if(this.signature != "")
{
MessageBox.Show("This is my signature: " + Environment.NewLine + signature);
}
else
{
MessageBox.Show("404-Signature not found");
}

I guess I wasn't clear. This icon is rewind for 2013. I would rather find it irritating if a site replays videos with my permission.

if(this.signature != "")
{
MessageBox.Show("This is my signature: " + Environment.NewLine + signature);
}
else
{
MessageBox.Show("404-Signature not found");

Hi,
Like some people here I have the odd Raspberry PI (Dave...) and memories of using the Acorn Archimedes at school. So I have downloaded and played briefly with the Riscos installation. I was wondering of anyone else had seen a use for it. The main thing I found was BBC basic. Anyone see any point to it (other than nostalgia)

There are lots of things like that -- I remember what wonderful times I had with some technology or other, and go out of my way to get it back, only to realise that things really have moved on for the better.

I think nostalgia pretty much sums it up.
I still have a commercial Basic ISO 5167 flow meter sizing/flow calculation tool. Being in basic a simple case of 'list' and voila, source to hand. Did consider porting it across to VB/VB.Net/C#/JavaScript for the hell of it one day, but then thought why bother....
