My post was more of a joke.
Sadly, I just had that very same thought last week, about the google search engine, not the browser -> I just realized how much of my daily life is now regulated by the first (occasionaly the second) result page of google. Gifts, travel destination, electronics equipment, even the architect for our house was found via Google.

Not dumb just they just don't know other browser exists. IE installed by default on windows PC so I call them ignorant rather than dumb.

I think even back in the day, I used Netscape over IE.
