Until wireless internet has so many limits (in space) they'll continue to make a call... P.S. I've asked (in Italy to Vodafone) to use GPRS to receive eMail and they ask me 20cents per KiloByte... The Technical team normally prefers Instant Messaging for discussions, because they can also share some live codesnippets or examples how exactly things are working etc. But for business development team, perhaps they would prefer lifting a phone and talking. Where I work, only the developers IM; although, it's mostly the younger guys in the office that tend to use it and one of the more 'in-tune' older fellas. The sales staff, on the other hand, is quite perplexed by it all. We use Trillian because it shares between AIM, MSN, ICQ, IRC and a few others and we can all intercommunicate regardless of choice of provider. Of course, one does have to signup using at least one of the providers as Trillian itself does not provide it's own proprietary consumer interface. Quality product, though.
