Sounds like a very bad idea. Most people are happy to get pinged when someone responds to something they have posted on the site, but they would be less interested in unsolicited calls for help.

I dunno about you, but I get a couple of hundred emails a day (after the spam filter has done it's bit) and the thought of that number increasing because somebody is attention seeking on their question is...unpleasant.

We are here volunteering, the last thing I want is to have people "ping" me because I'm good at something, somebody will eventually get to it, we are all good at something. That is what makes a community site really good, there is always somebody else to fill in.

First, thanks for "Expert Mode"! 
But...if you are working on an article, and tick the "work in progress" checkbox, the "Publish" button quite rightly turns into a "Save this version" button. Press that, and once the article is saved, it comes back as a "Publish" button, but with the checkbox still ticked. I think it should probably stay as "Save this version" until the checkbox is cleared, but I guess clearing the checkbox and reverting to "Publish" would work as well.

The article I have updated and published this morning[^] isn't showing the Download counter in the "About article" section, even tough I have added a Zip-File which's download seem to work correctly (The download link is a bit messed up, maybe that's the reason for the strange behavior).
And then I heard it like a shot through my skull to my brain,
I felt my fingertips tingle and it started to rain,
When the walls of my bedroom were tremblin' around me,
This ramshackle voice over attack of a bluebeat,
And tellin' me she's only looking for fun.

The problem was that I somehow messed up the design of the download button (it was showing as a normal hyperlink, without the funky image near it) - After Smitha has edited it and fixed the design it now shows the counter, again.

PoH says[^] he voted on one of my posts. 20 minutes after the vote it wasn't showing for me and I pinged him. 20 minutes after that when I saw is reply the vote was showing. Now it's missing again.

Interesting. Ratings are cached for 5 minutes, but some objects will hold onto a rating longer. We're redoing our caching currently so I'll add this as a note to be checked out.

Currently comments page showing only 200 comments but more comments with paging will be fine like the answers page.
Some enquirers don't know how to reply to comments(using Reply button), they add comments below to my comments. And later(after a day or 2) I find the updates/details of OP(enquirers) based on my comments by visiting my comments page.
So more comments please.

Worked fine for me in IE 8, so it presumably works everywhere else 
I'd guess that someone has his AdBlock plus misconfigured, or a restrictive firewall burned the Captcha.

Hello Readers,
While recently i am going to update my profile suddenly i came ac-crossed to one thing is that. while on any other page i am clicking in my profile name(Top-Right) Corner then its going to display my profile but suddenly while i am on MySetting and i Clicking on my name(Top-Right Corner), it redirecting me to some else profile.

I guess that comes from the fact that the page is in some cases no able to handle your "B" behind your name and renders it to the normal character 'B', which leads you to the said profile.
Remove the formatting of your user name to fix it.
People becoming wiser in order to notice the stupid things they did back in the young days. This doesn't mean that they really stop doing those things. Wise people still do stupid things, only on purpose.

In fact recently i found that why such condition has been raised. It's just because in My Settings My User Name was CreativeBe but while editing it to Creative B it allows me to save that name but while clicking on my User Name on Right - Top Corner It redirects my to that Profile.
