Well not exactly. Trigger has upgraded his broom with 17 handles, and 14 heads, so roughly 17 complete brooms. In the other case -- buying a new broom each time a component breaks, he'd bought 31 brooms, so he spared 14 brooms. Make that times the number of broom users in the world...
But as a pointed out, the flexibility can lead to the exact opposite of the target : a lot more of soon-to-be-obsolete blocks of electronics could be created...

Yeah, exactly what I need, more little things to step on while still half asleep in the morning.

I suppose the high-spec components from the phone could always be recycled into lower-spec applications e.g. camera and transmitter units into an IP security camera, batteries into arrays for powering electric scooters etc.?
As long as all the interface designs were standard, backward-compatible and supported by major technology companies it might just work. I mean, it works so well in open-source software...

It's safe for MY work... My boss is not a humourless up-tight a**hole...
Sorry for your poor job situation...
[EDIT] I wonder: Do you consider it unsaffe for work because it features semi-naked people who don't show anything anyway, or is it that your boss would frown upon you wasting valuable company time watching ANY non-work related movie??? [/EDIT]

For my place of work it is the watching of nakedness regardless of the level of nudity.
Its actually in the employee handbook that we got from our parent company.

I think you've jumped to gun a little bit little John, You've made assumptions which most would consider rude. My boss and the people I work with have a fine sense of humour and typically great people, I was just stating that anything with the title "Naked" really isn't safe for work, apart from maybe Naked Gun.

There is some excellent editing to keep the dangly bits to a minimum, although the temperature probably hat a lot to do with it.

Movie Quote Of The Day
A pinch is a device which creates, like, a cardiac arrest for any broadband electrical circuitry. Better yet, a pinch is a bomb - now, but without the bomb. See, when a nuclear weapon detonates, it unleashes an electromagnetic pulse which shuts down any power source within its blast radius. Now that tends not to matter in most cases, because the nuclear weapon usually destroys anything you might need power for anyway. But see, a pinch creates a similar electromagnetic pulse, but without the fuss of mass destruction and death. So instead of Hiroshima, you'd be getting the seventeenth century.
