Eldest is studying a youtube video and taking lots of notes on keypress sequences, shell commands, github addresses etc etc. for how to install Ubuntu and office software onto her chromebook.
She just showed me a screenshot of a shell terminal and asked what it is. I showed her the windows equivalent and a few basic commands and she went a bit hyper... 
I am playing footy later, so dare say when I come home it will be a "Chromebook evening".
Oh, and in case you are wondering, she is 9.

Meanwhile here in Norway, one of the articles in one of the news papers are suggesting that drinking would improve the life quality of the youth (adress is bt.no , but it requires a paid subscription to view, just to show you that Im not kidding). 
9 would perhaps be 9 years too young to start on the bottle though

I'm not so sure about that.
I was bought up in Luxembourg and was given my first glass of wine with water at the age of eight.
I didn't particularly like it at the time, but later was bought cider and beer in the hot summers by my mother to drink with meals in my mid teens. I never drank alcohol outside of meal times or on my own and it was freely available.
It was a very healthy move, as I would say as an adult that I have a healthy relationship to alcohol.

To clear up what he meant, it is that young people is far to stressed out (botox, iPad, clodes, sport, school, and WTF not). If you cant really relax perhaps we could either
1) Change the society a little?
2) Start drinking at a younger age
or something along these lines...
