Although this case is a little extreme it is common for the male to get the shot end of the stick. I went through a very bitter divorce and was ordered to pay a large sum of money to my ex, that's why I quit programming computers for many years!
Let me clear up a few things so y'all don't think I'm a deadbeat dad; I helped raise my son and he never wanted for anything even though I never paid my ex any child support. I live with him and his wife now so that I can remodel the house they just bought.

I've seen the same thing. The guy in question had the same job for 10 years, so there was a clear record of income. Court still awarded more then he made, even seen his pay checks that are negative (union dues still come out no matter what) or for just a couple of bucks.
Common sense is admitting there is cause and effect and that you can exert some control over what you understand.

I'm somewhere between 4, 5, 6, and 7.
6 because I have only used Win 8 once, on my brother's new laptop when he was having a problem, and it annoyed the sh*t out of me. Haven't touched one since.
5 because at home I hardly use a computer anymore, the aging laptop can go weeks without being turned on and mostly just grab for a tablet if want to do any browsing.
7 because if I did get Win 8 history tells me I would try to make it work like my computer did before.
4 is probably more likely than 7, but until I get my hands on one it could go either way.

I am more the "PC guy" at home.. Have win8 installed and will upgrade to win 8.1 at the end of the week (if MS maintains schedule..)
At the office so definitly "sysadmin" even if I am a dev: just upgraded to 7 here, and there are many XP stations here..

Can only recommend it - I have the RC from my MSDN account installed for a bit over a week now.
Everything feels faster and smoother, you can resize the tiles and Office 2013 + VS 2013 turned out to be really great.

I already have the Win8.1 RTM on my laptop (thanks, Dreamspark!). I must say, upgrade! It is faster, although I don't have VS2013 yet (I am waiting for the RTM version). I also have Office 2010 (still works, no need to upgrade right now).
