RAW, I regret to say that hypothesis is severely flawed. I have the wisdom of a piece of dust, the personality of a paper clip, and have been the source of revolting puns for more decades than I care to count. What kind of games ?
What are the requirements? what do you want to design ? only the graphics ? the gameplay ? ...
You need storyboarding features.
You need "assets" management.
You need a gameplay editor (with rules and stuff like that)
3D model should be done with 3rd party applications. (to be imported via the assert management module)
Sound editing should be done with 3rd party applications. (to be imported via the assert management module)

Cubes are no fun. I had a guy opposite that would come in every morning and open his overhead bin in a very aggressive move shaking the walls. I could hear every word of his phone conversations (and really, really didn't want to). Listening to personal conversations grows old real quick.
