Are you thinking of commercializing once your are ready?
Ideally what would be cost of such air conditioners?
Do not go where the path may lead. Go instead where there is no path and leave a trail.

Yes.

Not more than twice that of a normal air conditioner, but as I don't see that as being feasible I have a feeling there wont be any real use of it.

The price isn't really relevant. It's more about the price compared to cost of operating a standard unit driven by electrical power or whatever and the lifetime of yours compared to a standard one.
1. Initial cost (buying it plus installation)
2. Operational costs including maintenance on average/minimum/maximum
3. Lifetime of said installation
Now collect some real data!
Cheers!

Yes I'm fully aware of that. I have: "Remember that you don't need to pay the electric bill for the normal air conditioner. Assume a lifespan of more than ten years." in the info to the question
But I wanted the spine reaction from people.

And all I wanted to say is to have a real comparison one needs to know the initial cost plus the cost of operation plus eventual maintenance and put that into relation with the average lifetime.

Initial cost will be higher compared to the cooling units of today, cost of operation nada, and maintenance low. I can't say much more at the moment
