I'm still seeing the overlapping image in FF, IE, and Chrome. It's blocking the Bookmark button for me on some articles.

Does it work when you close and re-open the browser? Still doesn't work for me on IE8, XPSP3.

Yeah, it doesn't keep the setting after closing FF, but it does on Opera. I can live with that, though.

android is very popular. i think there is a lots of questions about the android. so it is necessary to create new menu for Android Question in quick answers menu.

The entries in that menu are generated automatically based on general popularity

Hi, recently I've added a lot of code samples which use generics such as List<string>. Why when a code block is set to be c# does the code project website try and parse the generic identifiers as XML? As when you add List<string> the website automatically adds </string> to the end of the code block. It's quite annoying.

Because you missed 'encoding' your tags. If you want to use the angular brackets as is, encode it. If it is left without encoding, it is considered a bad tag (unclosed one) and CP tried to put a closing tag to make it a valid XML.
Next time, just encode the Generics. (One of the options in the toolbar)

I appreciate that. But nonetheless, if writing C# code, why would XML content exist anywhere but in a string?
Would it not be a better user experience if you simply didn't XML validate C# code and encoded all < & > automatically?

Since the recent interface update I've been using this site more on a tablet. One thing I noticed is that you can't use any of the popup menu's like 'home', 'articles', 'quick answers' in the top bar, because they are triggered by mouse hover and touchscreens can only generate clicks.
I personally never use the click-action on the items you have to hover over for a menu, so maybe it would be a good idea to change them so that the menu pops on both hover and click?
I think the site is used mostly from a PC (because you don't code on a tablet), so if a lot of people actually use the click-action you might want to ignore the minority who don't use the site with a mouse.

This has been on my TODO forever. A little javascript will convert the :hover and onclick actions to touchStart/touchEnd and then it'll work fine.
I read the site a lot on my iPad, so yes, it bugs me too.

To give vote,at first when i mouse over it,it hiddens for sometime, then after 2-3 seconds it is visible and then i give vote.I think it is time consuming. In previous version total and online member number,my account name, total reputation point and sign out links are colored as blue(now it is dark) which highlights user's attention easily,it think it should keep blue or such color which will highlight these.

Where? I assume you mean in the forums? Which browser are you using?
There's no need to wait to vote on the voting bar in forums. The transition from grey to blue is set at 100ms, not 2-3 seconds. Is your system generally slow, or is it only CodeProject that seems slow?

Hi Guys
IMO there seems to be too much vertical space between parent and child lists:

My wife keeps complaining that we don't have enough space home, and here everybody complains about too much space. Sometimes, the world is just plain wrong.
Plis I don't understand, there is not that much space here. <fading echo> space here ... space here ... space here ...</fading echo>
