Looking at Package Configuration In SSIS, I noticed the following at the top:
Quote: While this video does not appear under "Videos" in the profile tab, it is part of videos on The Code Project. If you are interested in hosting a video on a coding solution on Code Project, email us at submit [at] codeproject.com.
I imagine that's at the top of each video article. It seems to me the purpose of putting "sumbit [at] codeproject.com" is so crawlers won't pick up that email address and spam you. Very clever indeed, except...
You have also set the HREF to be a mailto with the actual email address. I suspect the crawlers may be smart enough to pick up on that.
I suppose my suggestion is to either not bother with the "[at]", or remove the HREF. I'm sure that address has been picked up by every spammer on Earth already, though, so perhaps the former would be the more appropriate option. Either that, or create a submission form that emails you all on the server side (you can then require login and/or a captcha to avoid spamming).

Both the tips and the articles can have alternatives but I think that it's not always true that an alternative to an article is also an article.
Lately there has been many times that an alternative to an article is added which actually would fit to the tip category. However, if a tip is added, it cannot be binded to the article so it's not seen in alternative list.
So the suggestion is that when an alternative to an article is posted, the author could select if the alternative is also considered as an article or is it simply a tip. I believe that many small enhancements to the articles would fall the latter category.

When clicking the title of several of my post i get automatically redirected to completely different post.

http://www.codeproject.com/Messages/4318538/Devart-announces-New-Entity-Developer.aspx
following posts are all redirected to the same article that has nothing to do with them - e.g. - http://www.codeproject.com/Messages/4326520/Make-the-best-of-Code-Review-with-New-Visual-Studi.aspx[^]
How can this issue be solved?

I'm going to go out on a limb here and state that the reason they were removed was because they were deemed to be spam articles. Hence they would be removed.

Hi,
My Technical Blog posts are converted to an article automatically by the Code Project.
I don't know how this occurs, I have only edited the section and tags of the blog post in the code project and published it.
Can you help-me with this issue?
Regards,
Rui

Hi Rui,
This should all be sorted now. I think perhaps what happened is that the source URL to your blog post was removed. In order to keep it as a blog type post this must remain.
Thanks,

The Attachment is Broken in http://www.codeproject.com/Articles/66625/A-Fully-Featured-Windows-HTTP-Wrapper-in-C.
Could you please check it out? I have no source code available right now. So I cannot replace it with a new one.
Thanks,

When I am editing my article and upload documents they go in fine and the images work. However when I delete an old uploaded file and then put the new version by the same name in when I come back I see repeats. Its not effecting the article in any way because I redo all the links but I have a lot of images and repeats are becoming a pain and I am unable to clean up because there is some bug in your delete an uploaded file logic that is causing the file not to effectively be deleted and shows up in the following edit to the article.

Hi Akshay,
I tried to replicate this situation and deleting old files and adding new ones instead worked fine for me.
If/when it happens next time for you, can you please let me know the steps that leads you to the problem?
Sincerely,
Elina Blank

Sorry for the delayed reply. I disturbed you twice thrice for that option couple of months back. Finally you have implemented that option recently & it's fine. In new workplace they blocked all mail sites but now I could see the notifications through this option.
Thank you very much Chris.

I want to see all MVC related articles on particular section. Now I could get those by using our search but want to see those all at a place. So please create a section for that. And other possible categories jQuery, HTML5*, [Windows 8, WinRT & Metro], etc.,**
*I found only less articles there[^]

If the other member has configured to allow others to send an email then an 'Email' link in their posts would be available. Or else, no way.

I would be careful having relations with other members here. People talk. Just saying...

Whenever someone tries to put the word URGENT into a post, it's filterd out by the site or the question isn't posted at all.

+5 ..better yet, give them their own icon; makes 'em happy because they feel important, makes us happy because we can ignore them. A soundex to filter out variations would be nice 2.

Quick Answers or Discussions?
How about we just give members the ability to close poor questions in the Discussions?

I go with your suggestion. After all, some people who are put right about using "urgent" may mend their ways and become productive members of the community.
One of these days I'm going to think of a really clever signature.

Chris Maunder wrote: How about we just give members the ability to close poor questions in the Discussions? Ummm ... err ... I think, if I take your words as non-satire: this brings up the issue, supposedly written by a satirist (Juvenal): "quis custodiet ipsos custodes?:"
Which members shall have such "draconian" powers ?
