Yesterday, I answered the question "How to detect removable storage device on victim computer?[^]". I think that the op did not intend to do something bad, just happened to use a false word ("victim"), and he should get a useful answer.
My answer has been deleted meanwhile, I can still see it there, marked as "Deleted". I think that deletion is not appropriate.

Have an upvote to repair the downvote.
I have just been hit with 18 of them in 3 minutes across many of my Q&A answers.
The anonymous wanker needs to be identified and asked for his reasons.

Post a link to them and I shall seek to repair the damage.

Too many to list: I seem to be getting hit on various old posts as well as new ones. Got to the point where it has become meaningless: there is no real value to the points system (can't buy food with points) and now there seems to be no point in getting them since any coward can go back and do as much damage as they want and do it anonymously. Ridiculous.

Hi,
I just updated my Tip/Trick (JavaScript Date Validation[^]), however, then when I viewed it, it said "You have a new working version of your article. Would you like to view or edit this version?" - or words to that effect. So fair enough I clicked the link "View" to see what it would do. After clicking view link it took me to the usual Article Approval page.
The bug I found was that I was able to Approve my own update! I really shouldn't be able to approve my own work for publishing, surely?

Yes, our certificate supplier decided to revoke the entire SSL chain on us this morning because of a missing DNS entry. We've had polite discussions, DNS entries have been adjusted, and everything's all good again give or take some extremely disappointed and cranky hamsters.
If you still see the error try hitting Ctrl+F5 since we've been told caching may be in effect in some cases.

I am still seeing the error, and I have hit Ctrl+F5 with no luck so far. Tried both last night and now again this morning.

Try (in IE) Tools -> Internet Options -> Content -> Clear SSL State
Then try browsing in whichever browser you normally use.

That's truly odd. This may be a dumb question, but have you restarted IE? (as in: shut down all instances completely, then reopened?)

It may be that the SSL state is being cached upstream from you.
That's annoying. I'll ask around for more ideas.
