Looks like someone is posting questions in Q&A, and answering them himself under another account:

If you look at the deleted solution #1 (posted by the questioner) and the accepted solution #2 posted one minute later they are identical, even to the grammar errors.

I had a look after I posted here, and noticed that one, and that all the ones I checked had the same accepted and upvoted answerer.

I've been a bit suspicious about the answering user. He's been making WAAAAY too many edits in Q&A that make no real contribution. Definitely looks like a rep-[can't think of a polite term that is expressive enough] to me. I was prepared to let him go on his childish way, but if he's annoying others, then maybe a Liverpool kiss is in order.

It's not that he is annoying if he is gaming the system in this way, but that he is wasting other peoples time - if the only purpose of asking the question is to gain him rep points under his "main" username, then everyone else who has put effort into answering the question has wasted their time. That is annoying, and very rude.

You are absolutely right, Griff.
I'm glad you've caught this guy. Not exactly because of this little cheating, but exactly by the reason you pointed out, plus one more: this person acted like a shameless liar, trying to answer some questions in a most ignorant way, when it was apparent that he did not have a clue, not just by mistakes. It could create total confusion in unsuspected naive inquirers, even more lost of time. Was that just for those stupid points?
This account is now disabled, but then the account of his other reincarnation should be disabled, too. This one:

I don't know if I would call him a troll. A point-wh*** maybe, but he's not being rude or inappropriate beyond his abuse of the points system. Even on his sock-puppet questions, he is at least going through the effort of posting an answer that is somewhat related to the question.

I think it could be more fun just to downvote all the obvious sock-puppet answers and upvotes and see how long it takes for him to catch on that we've caught on.

And he did - a voluntary and self imposed one month ban. I dunno, perhaps a massive points demotion to discourage others would be in order as well? Just a thought.

He asked that his account be closed for good. He was ashamed and embarrassed so that account is gone.
