I did not mean it to be an advert. Adding CP to PageMoon did help me in easily navigating to CodeProject which I do daily. So, I shared it in Lounge. I have been with CodeProject for an year now, and how do you see my profile as an advert?
I don't have any ads in PageMoon rather.

Your avatar is just the website address, and the only thing you list on your profile page at all is the full page address.
Difficult not to see it as just advertising, IMHO.
But that's why I didn't use the Spammer Abuse button, but instead raised it here - I don't know how strict the Hamsters are about what constitutes an advert. I do know they don't like blatant ones! (Understandable, given it is advertising revenue that pays for the site upkeep)

Thank you. I changed my Avatar and other stuff. Actually you are right, it would at first glance look like an advert with that avatar.

This person[^] has started responding to messages that have not been looked at for well over a year, and seems to be using them as a vehicle to promote some 3rd party product.

Yepp, I came here to report him, but you've been faster.He's always linking to the same website for a 3rd party tool, answering very old questions (oldest one from 2004 as far as I can see). Joined only today. Spammer in my opinion.

Have a look at this question: trojans required for projects[^] Hardly appropriate and most certainly nothing you want to see on Codeproject.

Interesting message left on this article.
Sounds like the article needs to be removed as well as the offending author account;
