As I recall, many of us found a dodge to get around that limitation. Let's hope that modern tech can make it a bit more bullet-proof.
I have to admit, though, that I rather miss Colin's trick of making the MS Wizard agent traipse about the page; ah, the good ol' days....
Will Rogers never met me.

I usually check for new questions in the Q&A forum by using filters. I had been looking for questions that had either C# tag or .NET tag. But now it is showing results that contain both tags. The previous method "OR" was better. Please restore it back , i am used to it.
Ok now i checked the filter and found it to work as it did previously. Thank you for restoring it so quickly !! .

You can type "c# OR .net" into the search box to get the results you desire.
You can get even more complex with queries like "(c# OR .net) AND NOT VB"

Yeah I got that at one point today, Bob had a Spanner in one hand and a Pint in the other, I liked that touch.

We've been trying to track down the cause of this forever. It's only certain servers, yet all servers are setup the same. We've tried locks, alternate methods to read files, opening and closing the file manually while ASP.NET still says it can't get to it - everything.
Driving us a little insane.

I just tried applying the C++ filter at the Latest Updates page[^] but it has no effect. Am I missing something?

They are currently disabled (the functionality, not the UI) so I need to remove them from the UI and/or reneable the functionality.

One of the hamsters you were out with recently had gotten a little sick and threw up all over the place.
(He probably couldn't get that picture of his friend with the underwear on his head out of his mind.)
Cleanup crew has already reached aisle #4!
