There's only one argument that was made against my suggestion - providing this feature will "load" the servers. And I do not agree with that at all. It was a childish argument made, because he had to make some point against my suggestion.
I've made suggestions in the past to improve the blog feature that the site offers. This included being able to make an entire blog private, allowing or disallowing members to vote (or reply), etc.,
Hiding a particular post should not be such an incredibly tough task to do, especially when there are similar features implemented (hiding the blog itself as a whole).
It also isn't a particularly "reasonable" thing for someone to tell me that my suggestions will do nothing but waste the resources. It is hypocrytic horse crap, because they're not the ones who designed this system (neither do they know how this system works, or what would waste the resources). Especially when they are not the deciding authority and when they seem to have limited knowledge of what I'm talking about.

Hi, I was browsing recent C# unanswered questions, and came across a question reported as having been updated 22 hours ago[^].
Opening the question, I find it was asked in March, 2009, and the most recent solution offered in Dec. 2010, and the most recent comment made on a solution made in Dec. 2010.
There's no visual evidence of any editing, or change. The person listed as the updater's name does not appear anywhere in the question, as solution provider, or commentor.
Wondering what the person listed as having updated the question actually did, and why this question has been 'propelled' into the status of "recent."

I am using CodeProject for just 5 months.With in 5 months it helps me very much.
It is a ocean of knowledge and Teacher for solutions.It is best site for Developers.
I want to suggest that there should be a container in this website that can contains questions (that are not answered).Ecah user can see their container of questions.
Benifits of container:
>User does not need to search question.
>User just click a button and add question in their own container.
You can give the name to the container as question BASKET.

If you are looking to answer questions, then there is already a "Unanswered" list: http://www.codeproject.com/script/Answers/List.aspx?tab=unanswered[^]
If you are looking to ask a question, then surely searching first is simply a good idea? If the question has been asked, then perhaps that will give you the answer straight away.
You already have two lists under your profile: "My Questions" and "My Answers" so how is adding more lists going to help?

On my "My Settings" page under the "Settings" tab my profile photo crosses the border. I dont know if it is made intentionally or not. (Using IE8.0)

Seems like if the question has been rated 5-stared at least once, when you want to see the rating details(the box that appears when you mouse over the rating stars),rating details for the question it has to be aligned slightly to the left because the ratings for 5 dissappears because of the sponsored links or it can appear on top of the links. (Using IE8.0)

FYI It seems like the problem still exists. I dont know if you uploaded the bits or not tho. Seems like IE8 is not loving CP it is being resistent not to change LOL

Using IE6 / W2K, the New Message / Reply page does not show any of the emoticons on the right side of the text entry box as of a few days ago. FF4 / W2K is OK.

I'll try and find time, but IE6 support is now on a "if I can find the time for it after midnight" basis.

In my case, necessity. Our company provides products to the FAA for airport landing systems and many of these systems go back 10+ years and I have to make sure any updates work on client configurations. This machine is a dual boot with W2K and DOS! I do have FF 5 installed on the machine, but sometimes it causes a blue screen due to free memory list corruption, so it is not my primary browser.
Lack of emoticons is not a life or death issue, I can always type in the codes myself.
