Just a matter of updating the colourisation tokens. Easily fixed.

I need to upload a bug-fix and I just tried to use the "Update your article" page. In the title field, it displayed the title of the article (I clicked the update link from the article to get there). After selecting the .zip file and submitting the update, I was returned to the update page and given notice to provide the article's title. There is no place to type the title. Just a link to get the article's HTML.
I'm probably missing something obvious, but might someone tell me what I'm supposed to do here?
Thanks

Please take this in the intended spirit... I suggest you move this to the "Site Bugs & Sugs" forum, since it relates to the CP site itself.
Cheers,
Peter
ps Hope you've finished your coffee!

I was assuming it was me, not the site.

I copied the post to the site bug forum earlier. It seems your email doesn't like .vb files either.

No .vb either?
Ever tried contacting Google Customer Service? Yeah - it's a bit of an oxymoron.
In any case, can you please try updating again? A bug on that page has been fixed. My apologies.

The update went smoothly this time. I included a note in the comments that this was a test run since I emailed it earlier with a .rar file.
You can see all the disallowed file types by sending an email with a vb or exe file. When you get the "rejected" msg, open it up and scroll down. You'll see a link that takes you to a Gmail page. There is an expandable list there containing all the disallowed extensions (exe, vb, dll, etc).

Chris...
I've been with Yahoo (both email and hosting) for a dozen years with few complaints. And, you can send an exe thru the mail even without zipping it up. I just tried it by emailing an exe to myself. Anyway, food for thought.

Actually I have put Bob image in this Tip/Trick[^], initially it was displayed but in the 2nd revision it's not displaying.
Is images not allowed in Tip/Tricks? Don't know about that but I have checked the content of the Tip/Trick, the HTML characters were escaped so the Bob Image not displaying.

I edited it, still no good. The damned things keep changing back to the escaped version.

Thanks Indi, also Chris working on this too[^]. Let's see.

Recently I have posted this Tip/Trick[^] & it was accepted as an alternate today. But the points has been added in Authority instead of Author. Also the Event displaying as Answer Accepted instead of Alternate Accepted.
I found this in my Reputation History like below.

Hi Chris, Now I have a Tip/Trick to be published but I want this feature[^](above bug). So please inform me once you solved that because my new Tip/Trick needs to show image itself.
Also I want plain Bob's picture, I mean without any text itself so please give me link if you have any. I need that for my new Tip/Trick. Thanks.

[ADDED] An article gives Authority points when upvoted or bookmarked, this is OK. [/ADDED]
Answers in programming forums give Authority points when upvoted (good), and Debator points when bookmarked (very bad).
Here[^] is an example, it got upvoted once, and bookmarked three times, yielding 5 Authority and 15 Debator points, should have been 20 Authority and no Debator.
