Just wondering.
The funniest thing about this particular signature is that by the time you realise it doesn't say anything it's too late to stop reading it.

Yes Everyday I am checking reputation points and getting surprise.
Today's surprise - around 3000 point lost in debator. and received 745 points in authority.
Regards,
Hiren.
be good(Help people in CP),do good(Vote if one finds helpful) all will happen good, In case happens bad(You are getting downvote for your best try to help OP) it will be good for later after(Countered with more points by humble member). - Gita sar in context of CP.

Yep - all done. See this post[^].
There may be another one in a few weeks that will simply add participation points for very old sign-in events we haven't yet counted (since we will need to guess them based on other activity) but that will only add a few hundred participation points, nothing else.
Honestly though, while in fairness I'd like to scrape all sign in events I can, the 2 weekends of fine tuning is more than enough and I'd prefer just to leave things as they are and move on.

Ok.
I've lost about 3k points since the original recalc started two weeks ago - but I guess I'll have to live with that.

One of the things that really bugs me about the article editing on this site, is the state the article ends up after it has been edited by CP.
I like the fact that i can edit my articles any time I please while it is in the Unedited Contribution state. Along come the CP editors (who do a great job, don't get me wrong) and 'finalise' the article.
This leaves the only method to edit, is to submit an email with the changes.
Why can't we still be able to edit the article after the editors, and all that happens is it returns to an Unedited Contribution state and returns to the bottom of the queue again.
Please can this workflow be reviewed.

Apologies for not getting back to you earlier.
Our pan for this is to allow you to go in an edit your "edited" articles online and to have those edits create a new article version that will be in the "pending" state until an editor checks and approves. You'll be able to re-edit this pending update as often as you like.
Our reason for this is that once we've gone over an article to edit and polish we want to ensure that you're readers will always have a polished version of your article to view. Some authors edit our polished version and kill the formatting (or grammar, or spelling, or...) and degrade the experience. Doing it this way means you get the convenience of online editing and the readers get a good viewing experience.
This also speeds up the update process because in most cases approving online edits will be a very quick process.

Went to the who's-who page, typed my username (probably mis-spelled/punctuated) in the box, hit the tit and got this plain text response:

We see this occasionally and the response from Microsoft[^] is that it's an intermittent issue with our older Win2003 servers. They are not long for this world.

Thanks. We are experiencing intermittent viewstate errors on my employer's website. This may very well help us track it down.

Aren't we supposed to get points for approving an article/tip/blog? The reason I ask is that it's not in the FAQ, and I don't seem to be getting points for doing so.

We haven't had a chance to add that bit in yet - it's dependant on the reworking of the approval system so it takes 5 votes, not 1, for an article to pass muster.
This is, unfortunately, one of those things we won't be able to retoactively add points for, so for now consider the warm glow of Karma as your reward.

This is the current configuration setting for my message forum, but eventhough "Active?" and "Users can reply to messages?" are checked (denoted by the Xs) nobody seems to be able to see the Reply link at the bottom of my message. I've had ThatRaja try it twice but to no avail.

Can somebody tell me what I'm doing wrong here?
